Manual Resistance (MR) offers a spectrum of options and progressions, requiring skillful application. We apply MR strictly within your active range of motion (AROM) limits, and only in directions away from end-range. The focus is to train the skill of contractile control, preparing you for robust muscular support even in unconventional positions.

 

Our strategic application of manual resistance considers:

  • Point of application

  • Direction of force

  • Support/Anchor points/Force exchange points

  • Progression from one axis to multiple axes
